Anything But The Good Dog

Recently, I started to write a story about a dog with my friends Caitlin and Emily. It is called Anything but the Good Dog. I want everyone to know about it because I am going to publish it. So I am going to introduce all the characters and write a little bit about each one.

The main character in the story is Allison. I would say she is very tomboyish but loves animals. She is having big change in her life.

The dog in the story is named Holly. Let’s just say, she isn’t the most prettiest dog inthe whole wide world. Not a lot of people like her. But Allison does and she wants to help her.

Allison’s dad is a pretty good dad. She calls him Daddy by the way. He is the Daddy that is relaxed when everyhting is going fine but anxious when he has to say something that he doesn’t want to say.

Suzanna is not the most likable person to Allison. But for Daddy, things are taking a turn. Suzanna is more of the rich persnickety people that hates animals.

Hope Wringer is Allison’s mom. But she passed away when Allison was 8 from cancer. Allison misses her so much and never wants her to be replaced.

Olivia Harrington is another mean lady. She owns Holly, but if you didn’t know that she owned Holly then Holly should just look like a miserable homeless dog.

Jake is Allison’s sister. They get along well. Jake is a nice, down-to-earth person.

Lady Serena and Studley are Olivia’s dog’s. They are like servants to her.

So that are the names of my characters for my book..

1. I get to spennd time with Emily.

2. I can get on the big screen by doing cool moves and holding up signs.

3.I get to stay up late.

4.I get to watch people play basketball.

5. If they do win, I’ll be really happy.

6. I’ve never even been to a Celtics game!!!

All about my 7 chipmunks

I don’t really have seven chipmunks but I wish I did so that is why I’m writing this.

Names: Alfredo, Bob, Fred, Peanut Butter, Soy Sauce, Potato and French Fries.

Where are they: The are at a resort in Hawaii and they will be back in April.

Alredo is my special chipmunk. He is very hyper and enjoys walnuts and hula-hooping.

Bob is a fun-loving chipmunk. He likes veggie burgers (he is a vegetarian!) and trampolines.

Fred has never frowned once in his life. He likes chinese food and water skiing.

Peanut Butter is nonstop partying chipmunk. He enjoys peanuts and dancing at parties.

Soy Sauce is a quiet chipmunk. He likes Cheese burgers and hide and go seek.

Potato and French Fries are two peas in a pod so that’s why I’m writing about them together. They enjoy ketchup and being best friends!

The Chipmunk Association

I love chipmunks so I decided to make an association for chipmunks, but in order for it to work out, I wrote a few rules so it isn’t some crazy asssociation. So if you want to join this, I would consider reading these rules.

1. You must love chipmunks to be in this association, or else it won’t be fun for you or me when you join the club.

2. You must not hurt the chipmunks. They are delicate creatures that need lots of attention (Ithink).

3. You must be willing to feed them nuts, because then they will love you.

4. You will be nice to everyone in the group, no going crazy also.

5. Have fun with the chipmunks!

The Night Fairy

I thought the book was wonderful because it had beautiful illustrations to go along with the thrilling story. If you want to want to read some more book reviews on the Night Fairy, click here.

What if you were a fairy with no wings? What would you do? Would you hide? Run? Well, Flory tries to make some friends. She suceeds with a squirell, but not so much of a hummingbird. I recommend this book for antone who likes fairy tales and talking animals. My favorite part was when the spider captured the hummingbird. This book reminds me of when I am sad because someone took away something I loved. And also it is a book about friendship and trust. The squirell trusts Flory because they are friends. I think this book is more centered toward girls because it is a book about fairies and boys don’t usually like fairies but I think a boy could possibly like it because it is a very well written book. I recommend this book for children ages 7-11 because it is a chapter book but it can turn into a short story for older kids to read to younger children, or you can just read it yourself because it is such a good book!
