Harry Potter is at his 4th year at Hogwarts and his wizard school is having a Triwizard Tournament. Harry isn’t old enough to enter, but when his name is chosen out of the Goblet of Fire, will he be able to do the tasks? My favorite part of the book is the last task Harry has to do! I won’t tell you what the task is, but let me tell you, it was mind-blowing! Its action-packed, filled with surprise and danger. I think this book is interesting because J.K. Rowling describes every little detail. For example, she describes these best. She describes castles, the setting and the characters so well. She describes characters so well that when you open the book it’s like the characters are your friends. I would recomend this book to anyone because it has all differrent

But Harry thinks Malfoy is up to something with Voldemort. He keeps on disappearing in the Marauder’s Map. But something else is going on in potions. Snape now is the Defense against the Dark Arts and that means that Professor Slughorn is the Potions Master. Harry has no Potions book because he did not think he would have to take Potions. So he is given one of the old copies. But this one is different that the others. It was the Half-Blood Prince’s book.

I am doing a play called Mulan. I love plays so much because you can pretend to be people who have a completely different personality. Anyway, I imagine that everyone who is reading this knows or has even heard of Mulan so I imagine that you know who Mushu is. (If you don’t know-he’s a dragon) that’s who I think I can act out best. I have to say so myself, I am pretty funny and I love to act out funny characters whenever I am in a play. But I don’t want to be Mulan because I wan’t to be a part that does’nt have too many lines and Mulan is the main character. Also, she has to sing a full song and I’m not that type of singer. Mushu has to sing a song but Mushu is supposed to be a funny singer and that’s what I am- I can act out funny parts and sing like Mushu sings. So that’s why I recommend myself as a good role for Mushu.

I wonder why I had to play the best team. Why? It’s just not fair. Why can’t we play, oh I don’t know, the team in 3rd place? The yellow team is so aggressive, that’s how they win all of their games. I mean, that’s probably why we lost, 19-o. Yeah, we didn’t score one single basket. Not one. I don’t think that I’ve ever heard of a team that lost, 19-0. That’s the green team epically failing. Plus, that was our last game of the season. Can you imagine any more horrible way to end the season? And, to make matters worse, I got wacked in the eye by a girl I don’t even know. And she was the same girl who pushed me down the last time we played her team. I’m not trying to make the people on the yellow team feel bad for me, but I think a little sympathy would be okay. And some people who didn’t do anything are being blamed for this. I’m not trying to hurt their feelings, but I can’t help feeling sad. I don’t deserve this!

Fever is one of the most dramatic books I have ever read. Maddie is living throught the yellow fever epidemic of 1793. Yellow fever is a rare disease that killed thousands, and Maddie is trying to live through it all, but with all those people dying it is very hard for her to live like that. I think that this book was sad and happy at the same time. Like one thing worked out, but the other didn’t. I think this book is more centered for girls but I think a boy would enjoy it too. Just be ready to cry because this book is so sad! If you like this bok, then you should check out this website by clicking here. Also, be sure to read many more wonderful books by Laurie Halse Anderson.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is probably one of the funniest books of all time. People think that it is a boy book, but that doesn’t stop me from reading it, and so are my friends, so I don’t get why they call it a boy book, if everyone on face of the earth is reading it! I shouldn’t really need to write a summary since everyone knows about it and some people are reading it still and they haven’t gotten to the parts that I’m talking about, but here goes. Greg Heffley is trying to not be wimpy, but you know how sometimes you plan to have a new year’s resolution and you epically fail, that’s Greg for you. He can’t not be wimpy, it’s just how he lives his life. But with an annoying brothers and freaks for friends, how can you not be wimpy and weird? I like this book because it is the most funniest book in the world, in my opinion. I think that people who thought it was a boy book were wrong, because generally people think that girls are wimpier than boys, but that’s what makes the book funny! If you thought this book was good, you should check out the official site for Diary of a Wimpy Kid by clicking here. Also, be sure to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid in theaters March 19th, 2010!

Lionel and Beatrice’s parents died when they were very young. Ever since then, they have lived at Chalk Bluff Boarding School. Lionel is very fond of Beatrice, he will do anything that Beatrice will do. But he is not fond of the soldiers at the school. Before they could even do a thing, Beatrice and Lionel are on the run, fleeing for their lives on a stolen horse. I like this tale because it has lots of adventure that lots of kids like. The genre of this book is probably adventure, but like I say for a lot of books, it has it’s own category. Actually, every book has a different genre, but there is just big ones that we mention. I think this book is great because it is a book for boys and girls. I hope many people will read this book because it is a book that everyone should love.

The Willoughby children are just like any other old-fashioned family. Tim, Barnaby A, Barnaby B and Jane are the Willoughbys. Their parents are quite weird, not-loving type of parents. Well, let’s just say that the Willoughby family isn’t what they were supposed to be.The genre of this book could be realistic fiction but I personally think it goes under a category of it’s own.I mean, there is characters that are introduced in the book but they are living in Germany, and I’m thinking that how can this fit into the story? I don’t really think that their is a main event in this story but I think the major conflict is their parents. I feel that if I go into talking about their parents, I will give away too much of the story. I describe Tim as very organized but strict. He sort of acts like a know-it-all. I’m not saying that he’s mean but he’s not the nicest of the Willoughbys. Barnaby A and B are more of the daring, adventurous but funny people in the story. They certainly light up the Willoughby family. Jane is probably my favorite character in the book because she is shy but full of great ideas that she is too shy to share with other people. Jane almost reminds me of myself, although I’m not that shy. If Iwere in the same position of the Willoughbys then I would feel kind of lost. I wouldn’t know what to do. I can’t imagine myself in a situation like that. I don’t know if I could handle that. They are braver than me, I guess. But if I were in the book, I can’t imagine myself saying “Even I can read, and I’m a complete dodo.” The first page surprised me a little bit. But it was good that way. I think the author introduces all the characters at different times in the story. First you’re at the Willoughby’s house and next thing you know, you’re reading about a new character in Germany! I don’t know if I liked the conclusion very much. I feel like there could have been a little more action. But it was still a wonderful book. The weird thing about this book was that it had a glossary, epilogue and biblioghraphy. I’ve never read a book with all that. I really liked the cover. I thought it was a cover that would appeal to both boys and girls. Because it is a book about boys and girls! I thought this was a wonderful book and I hope that lots of people like it as much as I do because it’s so good!

Um, excuse me? Hello? Does anyone care about me? Does anyone want to be my friend? No one can understand me. I am just a small, scrawny, miserable puppy. No one wants me because I am a stray. I was abandoned but I wish to have a home someday. Everyone just walks by me on those busy streets, ignoring how sad I am, how much I want a place to live, to be loved. Everyone thinks I am bad, useless, horrible little stray that the Animal Control hasn’t caught yet. And if they do catch me, no one will want me and then comes the worst. I am not a small, scrawny, miserable, sad, bad, useless, horrible little stray. I may seem like that, but all I want is to be loved. To have a home where you know you are safe, you know someone loves you, you want to be wanted.
